The Black Box

For the mainstream historian or supporter of King James II it has been easy to hide behind the myth of Monmouth’s illegitimacy. Myth that has came for the mouth of James II himself and no other. Yet the only man that benefits from the illegitimacy of Monmouth is James II, the same man that made suggesting Monmouth was legitimate, high treason and punishable by death.
