Where did the Executions happen during the Bloody Assizes?
The following towns saw executions take place of Rebels in the Bloody Assizes. These that happened across the South West of England in the autumn of 1685 where 315 men & women where executed by King James II. Most of these were hung until nearly death, there guts draw out, then their bodies quartered and tarred.
